My name is Angel. I LOVE my life! I love my Jesus, my husband, my children and my home! I am blessed with a wonderful husband, Corey. We have been married 10 fabulous years! We have six beautiful children, four girls and two boys! I am privileged to stay at home and teach our children! We are in the Air Force stationed at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia. I am excited to begin this journey of blogging to share my thoughts on faith, family, and home-schooling!

PSALM 138:8 The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me.  Lord, Your love is eternal: do not abandon the work of Your hands.

My True Love Corey Hartzler. I love him more than life itself. We met in highschool. He graduated and joined the United States Airforce. After basic training he moved to Idaho! Yes, Idaho! Potatoes? 🙂 How would we ever survive this? I was in Ohio and now he would be in Idaho! I got to visit a couple of times before I moved there as his wife 6 years later! We have been married 10 wonderful years! God continues to bless and show us more of himself through our family of eight!

Alaynea Rae. Our baby! It does not seem like 9 years ago that this beautiful baby girl blessed our lives! Growing way to fast, Alaynea is still our little girl. She loves to read, swim, and play soccer! She is in the 4th grade. She is a super big sister, loving on her little brothers and sisters, always helping out when needed. She does most of the baking at home and her brownies ROCK! She is gentle, fun, loving, quiet, and kind. I could go on and on but I do have five more to describe! 🙂

Joel Allan. Our oldest boy! Only 13 months after Alaynea was born, we were blessed with a precious baby boy! What is Joel like? One word. Corey. Joel is just like his daddy. He looks like him, talks like him, and acts like him. It is so funny. Joel loves being a boy! He plays upward basketball, soccer, and flag football. I do not think he has a favorite. He just has fun in everything he does! Joel is in the 4th grade. He likes to create, whether it be legos, paper airplanes, origami, anything he can build or make Joel can do it.

Emma Rose. Sweet Little Emma. Her nickname is Brownie. She giggles everytime Daddy calls her that. Emma is 7! Emma is in the second grade. She still loves playing babies and little pets! Emma is the mother hen of the family. She takes care of everyone, especially Scarlett. She was in the middle of her flag football game, out on the field, and she yelled over to the side lines “someone needs to get Scarlett, she is climbing on thebleachers!” 🙂 Emma loves singing and dancing. She wants to know when she can be on stage!

Corey Logan. My fiery red head! Logan loves to wrestle, sword, growl, play in the dirt, and beat up his sisters! 🙂 Logan really is a sweetheart. Logan will be six in January. He is in kindergarten, learning his ABC’s and 123’s. He even has is own locker that he is very proud of! Our special friends from Canada gave us the nickname Maple Sugar for Logan and he likes that!

Faith Angelina. Faith is our 4 year old who thinks she is in charge! 🙂 Faith loves to play baby dolls, little pets, and jump on the trampoline. Oh, she loves to sing in a microphone, and her favorite meal is pssgetti!! Faith loves to do “school” She has a special ABC video she watches everyday!

Scarlett, being number 6 is the BOSS 🙂 She is sweet as can be. Our baby girl! We are working on getting rid of the pacifier and going on the potty! She is loved and well taken care of by all her siblings!

Hi Angel, your mom sent me your new site so that I could meet you and yours. What a wonderful family you have. It is so refreshing to see a “family” all together and having fun. Your distant cousin, Jackie Layne Partin in Monteagle, TN

Hey! I found you…how have you been? It looks like you have been pretty busy there with 6 kids. You look amazing and what a beautiful family the Lord has given you. I am amazed at the strength of women to have 1/2 a dozen children. They truly are a blessing from the Lord. I only have 1/4 of a dozen so things aren’t as busy, but they keep me hopping just the same.

If I don’t get back to you this week, I hope you and your gorgeous family have a wonderful Christmas. God has given us a great year and we are looking forward to all the things of 2009 He has in store for us.

    God bless you!

The family pictures are beautiful! What great looking kids! You are pretty close to me – I’m just north of Baltimore. My hubby Michael and I (before kid of course) used to go to visit every light house that we could, on the east coast. Our all time favorite is Cape Hattaras but the Cape Henry lights are pretty neat too. Michael is scared of heights yet I got him to climb the Henry light all the way to the top! Any time you come north to see the lights look me up!
